Red Bull Dolomitenmann 2010

The traditional 4-by-4 ordeal of the world’s most grueling team competition will begin for the 23th time on Saturday, September 11th, 2010 at Lienz in the Dolomite Alps, when 110 teams will fight their way up 1,950 meters to reach the summit, then glide fast as the wind through the air, leap into the river and paddle through white water where every second counts, and finally pedal their bikes like mad.

Galitzen Gorge Water Exhibition Trail

The ‘discovery’ of the Galitzen gorge goes back to the middle of the 19th century, but it was only many years later that it was decided to develop the gorge.

Drau cycleway

About 366 km long, well sign-posted and easy to cycle on for everyone, recognizable as the R1: the number one on the list of cycling tours is the Drau cycleway. You should allow for four days at least for this route simply because of the wealth of tourist attractions along the way.
