Regular cycleway maintenance will end on 26th October

In autumn we urge all cyclists to be particularly careful on the cycleways. Especially at this time of year there tend to be slippery sections on the paths, above all in the early morning or late afternoon. On bridges and stretches in the shade close to the rivers utmost care is imperative as there may be ice in places or falling leaves may make the surface slippery.

From the 26th October regular maintenance of the trans-regional cycleways will be discontinued on the following sections:

• In the Lienz basin
• Between Lienz and Mittewald
• Between Lienz and St. Johann
• Between Lienz and Nikolsdorf/Nörsach

There is no winter maintenance on the complete cycleway network. We ask all users of the cycleways to be extremely cautious during this period.
