A challenge for Lienz and its inhabitants

The judging of the jury on how the co-ordination and co-operation between the various groups works makes the Entente Florale a project for every single citizen in Lienz.

The international jury will concentrate on how the following authorities and bodies work together and get involved in the project:

• Horticulture
• Environmental protection
• Town planning
• Tourism
• Commerce
• Social politics
• Administration
• Individuals and interest groups

Participating is worth it.

Taking part in the Entente Florale is a great chance for every single citizen and thus for the whole town. By co-operating effectively we can achieve the following goals:

Improving the town’s reputation by being actively involved in the environment
Improving the look and structure of our town
Seeing the project as a link between tourism and culture
Encouraging the community spirit and thereby improving each individual’s quality of life.

Each citizen has the chance to make use of his own environment and put forward his own creative ideas.

From all these opportunities the town of Lienz drew up its actual objectives for this project:
